Major General Kon John Akot resumed his position as Director of Traffic at the South Sudan National Police Service (SSNPS) on Monday after being temporarily transferred to Northern Bahr el Ghazal as a state police commissioner.
Addressing officers at the Traffic Police Headquarters in Juba, Gen. Akot revealed that he had personally financed the construction and furnishing of the department’s facilities. He said his company, Kon Insurance, covered the cost of the offices, meeting halls, furniture, and electricity.
