Women in Rubkona County marked International Women’s Day with a ceremony aimed at highlighting women’s achievements and challenges.
The event, held in Pakur, brought together more than 100 women from the community.
Organizers from Active Citizens South Sudan said the celebration was meant to encourage dialogue about women’s rights and strengthen support for women in leadership and development programs.
Participants also discussed ways to increase women’s participation in decision-making at community and national levels.
